Along any journey that you go on there will be a process. During that process things will often appear to be slow. In a world that is so used to instant gratification, patience is not a virtue. However, when you’re going through a growth, transitioning into a new change, or even making different choices in life, there is a process. One of the main things that you’re going to need is patience. If you’re an impatient person, this will be very hard. You will want to see results quick, whether it be weight loss, a personal goal, or a recent choice you have made.
We all want to see results quick instead of waiting to go through a process.
Consider a butterfly. There is a process that a butterfly has to go through before it can fly. Coming out of its cocoon, there is a struggle, and it is through this struggle that the butterfly will get its strength to fly. In fact some say that without the struggle, a butterfly would not have the strength to fly. In the same aspect, we also will have to go through some trials and struggles in life in order to reach our goals and ultimately to live out our destiny.
There are three things that you will need in the process. These three things are prayer, faith, and trust in God. We cannot go through this process alone. God is going to teach you that without Him you truly are nothing. It is through the wait that God will teach us how to be strong and ultimately how to trust in him.
Isaiah 40:31 New International Version (NIV)
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint
My sister, as you go through the process be strong and trust in God. Know that He has a perfect plan for you and the process is part of that plan. I once heard a Pastor say that satan does not want you to go through the process, because when you go through a process, you will learn who and whose you are. It is through the process that you ultimately learn how much strength you truly have!
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Have you ever been in a place where you had to trust the process?
