Yes I Can

I am a witness that has fallen short due to believing the lies of this world. I grew up in the projects, raised by my mother and grandmother, lived on public assistance, had some teachers say I am not smart enough to be in their class.
I allowed the lies to speak louder than the truths of God
I thought maybe the teacher was right. Maybe I am not smart enough to be in this class. Maybe I did make a mistake. Maybe I shouldn’t be here. No matter how much good I did, those lies still resonated louder in my mind. Maybe I am going to be poor and never leave here. Maybe I am going to raise my family here. Maybe there is nothing out there for me. I worked hard. Got good grades. Stayed out of trouble. Tried to be a good leader to my peers. But that fear always remained. Had tons of people speaking life into me but for some reason that one teacher’s words discouraged me along destiny.
YOU ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH. YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Wow. The power of one’s words can bring death or life. I didn’t realize that these lies had my mind caught in the web of the enemy and God was whispering to me something else. He was telling me who I was in Him. How much love He has for me. How He has been there for me… protected and kept me. He was saying how He knew before I was formed in my mother’s womb. He was saying how it was going to be a fight for me to come here but He held me in His Hands. He told me that He has plans for me. What lies has the enemy been saying to you to keep you from destiny? How did you find the strength to trust God instead of believing the lies?
When the world tells you that you can’t remind them who I AM…. I AM the Great I AM! The God who is Living and True. The One who will NEVER leave nor forsake you. When the world says that you can’t Get dressed in your armor and stand, remember I AM the One who holds your hand I have already called you My friend. With Jesus being your help, you can. When the world says that you can’t, just simply remind them “Oh yes I can!” For God already knows the plans for me. He has given me the victory. I can because I AM… orchestrates my destiny.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
